Report: Browns have no plans to trade Beckham
The Cleveland Browns have no plans to trade star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
"It's totally not true ... No idea where anyone would have gotten that," a source told Schefter regarding the speculation that the wideout could be on the trade block.
Rumors that the Browns could move Beckham surfaced during the offseason, but the team has never discussed trading him since acquiring him, Schefter adds.
The three-time Pro Bowler struggled in the season opener against the Baltimore Ravens - just 22 yards on three catches - but bounced back in Week 2 during a 35-30 win over the Cincinnati Bengals with four receptions for 74 yards and one touchdown.
The New York Giants traded Beckham to the Browns in March 2019 after his first five NFL seasons. The 27-year-old recorded 1,035 receiving yards and four scores on 74 catches in his first year with Cleveland - his worst individual campaign since entering the league (minimum of 10 games played).
