The New England Patriots had no new positive tests for COVID-19 Thursday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. These results came from testing conducted Wednesday.

Three Patriots players have tested positive over the last week, with quarterback Cam Newton, cornerback Stephon Gilmore and practice squad member Bill Murray ending up on the COVID-19 list.

New England canceled practice Wednesday due to Gilmore's positive result and will continue to work remotely Thursday. The earliest the team facility can reopen is Friday.

"We made a decision to close the facility for the health and safety of our team. That's priority No. 1. We continue our preparation for Denver with virtual calls," head coach Bill Belichick told the media Thursday, per NESN's Zack Cox.

The Week 5 matchup between the Patriots and Denver Broncos is still currently scheduled to proceed.
