The Washington Football Team is set to receive a major defensive boost in Week 5.
Rookie defensive end Chase Young is expected to return to Washington's lineup for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams barring a last-minute setback, a source told John Keim of ESPN.
Young suffered a groin injury against the Cleveland Browns in Week 3 and missed last week's matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. He was listed as questionable on Washington's injury report Friday.
The No. 2 pick was off to a hot start before the injury, registering 2.5 sacks and one forced fumble through his first two full games.
Washington's pass rush is one of the league's best and has amassed 14 sacks so far this season, ranking fourth in the NFL.
