The Seattle Seahawks won't have their two main running backs for the second straight week.

Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde were ruled out for Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills, the team announced Friday.

Carson has been battling a foot injury, while Hyde is dealing with a hamstring ailment. Both injuries were suffered against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7.

The 26-year-old Carson leads the Seahawks with 323 yards and three touchdowns on the ground through six games this season. He's also caught 22 passes for 147 yards and three scores.

The veterans' absences leave rookie DeeJay Dallas and Travis Homer as the only options at running back for the Seahawks, who also have veteran runner Alex Collins on the practice squad. Dallas racked up 58 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns during last week's win over the San Francisco 49ers.

Additionally, Seattle confirmed star safety Jamal Adams will be active against the Bills. Adams hasn't played since Week 3 due to a groin injury.
