Rivers blasts NFL after controversial INT: No one thought that was a catch
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Philip Rivers didn't hold his thoughts on the NFL's catch rule back after officials awarded a controversial interception to Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters.
"It's gotten so jacked up, how the catch rule is. No one who has been around football or watched football thought that was a catch, including the guy who caught it," Rivers said following the game, according to The Athletic's Stephen Holder.
The referees initially ruled the pass incomplete after Peters lost control of the ball heading to the ground but the call was changed to an interception after review.

Rivers is also not a fan of the process behind the review, requiring NFL officials to consult with league officials in New York before making a final decision.
"But some guy who has probably never caught a football in his life gets to decide," Rivers added.
The veteran signal-caller had no touchdown passes against the Ravens' defense and finished with a 62.8 passer rating.
Indianapolis failed to score after the interception, allowing the Ravens to score 17 unanswered points and win 24-10.
