Ravens activate 3 players from COVID-19 list, find 4 strains of virus
The Baltimore Ravens welcomed back running back Mark Ingram, defensive end Calais Campbell, and backup defensive lineman Jihad Ward, as the trio was activated off the COVID-19 list Saturday.
All three players were part of an outbreak that spread through the Ravens' facility, resulting in 20 players being placed on the COVID-19 list at one point.
The Ravens released a statement regarding the outbreak, confirming not everyone followed protocol correctly and at least four unique strains of the virus traveled through the facility.
Baltimore removed key players J.K. Dobbins, Pernell McPhee, Patrick Mekari, and Matt Skura from the reserve list Friday.
The Ravens have 10 players remaining on the COVID-19 list, including 2019 MVP Lamar Jackson.
The 6-5 Ravens have lost three straight games and are set to take on the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday night.
