Rams return to playoffs with win over Cardinals, help Bears clinch berth
The Los Angeles Rams are back in the playoffs - and so are the Chicago Bears.
After missing the postseason last year, the Rams clinched a playoff berth by beating the Arizona Cardinals 18-7 on Sunday.
Quarterback John Wolford, who started the game over an injured Jared Goff, threw for 231 yards and one interception on 22-for-38 passing.
The Cardinals played most of the contest without Kyler Murray under center, as the signal-caller suffered an ankle injury in the first quarter.
The loss eliminates Arizona from the playoff race while securing a spot for Chicago, which last made the postseason in 2018.
The 8-8 Bears booked a ticket to the playoffs despite suffering a 35-16 loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 17.
Chicago will play the New Orleans Saints on the road next week while Los Angeles is set to face the Seattle Seahawks.
