Report: Caserio to earn $6M per year, one of 3 highest-paid GMs in NFL
The Houston Texans signed new general manager Nick Caserio to a six-year contract that makes him one of the three highest-paid GMs in the NFL, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Caserio will average at least $6 million per year, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports, citing league sources.
The Texans hired Caserio away from the New England Patriots. He served as New England's director of player personnel since 2008 and won three Super Bowls in that time.
He signed a contract extension with New England in February 2020.
Caserio reunites with Jack Easterby, the Texans' executive vice president of football operations. Easterby joined the Patriots in 2013 and moved to the Texans in 2019. He was promoted to his executive role with Houston in 2020.
