Wilson named Walter Payton Man of the Year

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was named the Walter Payton Man of the Year on Saturday.

The award recognizes excellence on the field and in the community. Wilson will receive a Walter Payton patch to wear on his jersey for the remainder of his career.
Wilson and his wife, Ciara, donated $1 million to Feeding America - the largest hunger-relief organization in the U.S. - and partnered with Wheels Up to combat food insecurity.
The 32-year-old signal-caller also encouraged people to vote, partnering with the I Am a Voter campaign before the 2020 election.
