Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley won't travel to London to face the New York Jets on Sunday due to a personal matter, the team announced.

"We are in support of Calvin during this time and will respect his privacy on the matter," the Falcons said in a statement.

Ridley leads Atlanta with 42 targets, 27 catches, and 255 receiving yards this season. The 26-year-old, who's coming off a career year, has also scored one touchdown through four appearances in 2021.

Ridley isn't the only absence for the Falcons' pass-heavy offense. Atlanta will also be missing wideout Russell Gage, who hasn't played since Week 2 due to an ankle injury.

As a result, rookie tight end Kyle Pitts and veteran playmaker Cordarrelle Patterson will likely see increased workloads. Pitts is still looking for his first career touchdown, while Patterson scored three times in Week 4.

Wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus and tight end Hayden Hurst should also feature for Atlanta on Sunday.
