Broncos activate Jeudy from IR for Week 8 vs. Washington
The Denver Broncos have activated wide receiver Jerry Jeudy from injured reserve, putting him on track to play Sunday's game against the Washington Football Team, the team announced Saturday.
Jeudy hasn't played since suffering an ankle injury in Week 1 versus the New York Giants. He hauled in six receptions for 72 yards before sustaining the ailment.
The 22-year-old represents a significant addition to the Broncos' struggling offense. Denver has lost four consecutive games, with the offense held under 25 points in three of those contests.
Broncos wideout Courtland Sutton leads the team with 38 catches and 539 yards this season.
Jeudy - the 15th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft - racked up three touchdowns and 856 yards on 52 receptions as a rookie.
The Broncos also activated tight end Albert Okwuegbunam and linebacker Jonas Griffith to their 53-man roster Saturday.
