Running back James Robinson is expected to be day-to-day with a foot injury, and his status for the Jacksonville Jaguars' Week 9 meeting against the Buffalo Bills is in question, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Robinson suffered the injury during Sunday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks. He exited after recording just four carries for 22 yards and did not return.
Head coach Urban Meyer described the ailment as a bruised heel postgame, according to team reporter Ashlyn Sullivan, but did not know any further details.
Robinson has continued to carry the load for the Jaguars' rushing attack in his second season. He has accumulated 482 rushing yards while averaging 5.5 yards per carry.
