Browns activate Hunt, Conklin from IR ahead of SNF
The Cleveland Browns are set to welcome back two key players in Week 12.
Cleveland activated running back Kareem Hunt and offensive tackle Jack Conklin from injured reserve Saturday, making them available to face the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football.
Hunt hasn't played since he suffered a calf injury in Week 6. The one-time Pro Bowler was off to a strong start, racking up 361 rushing yards (5.2 per carry) and five touchdowns through six appearances. He also caught 20 passes for 161 yards.
Conklin, a two-time All-Pro, has battled multiple injuries in 2021, including an elbow ailment that forced him to injured reserve after Week 8. The 27-year-old made 15 starts in Cleveland last season and started all six games when he was healthy this year.
The two players' returns are a big boost for the Browns, who have relied heavily on their running game. Cleveland's 5.2 yards per carry ranks first in the NFL.
Nick Chubb leads the team with 851 yards (6 per attempt) and six touchdowns on the ground.
