Report: Giants' Jones likely to miss 2nd straight game with neck injury
Daniel Jones will likely miss the New York Giants' Week 14 game against the Los Angeles Chargers due to a neck injury, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The ailment also sidelined Jones last week.
Mike Glennon replaced Jones in Sunday's 20-9 loss to the Miami Dolphins but suffered a concussion.
As a result, second-year passer Jake Fromm is in line to take first-team snaps in practice this week, head coach Joe Judge said Monday, according to Ralph Vacchiano of SNY. Fromm could also start this Sunday.
In addition to Fromm, New York's quarterback depth chart features Brian Lewerke, who's currently on the practice squad.
The Giants' offense has struggled this season under both Jones and Glennon. Jones has won four of his 11 starts and posted an 84.8 passer rating, while Glennon led New York to its season low in scoring versus Miami.
Fromm signed with the Giants on Nov. 30 after beginning the season on the Buffalo Bills' practice squad.
