Kamara arrested on battery charge after Pro Bowl in Las Vegas

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara was arrested for battery resulting in substantial bodily harm on Sunday in Las Vegas, according to a release from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, obtained by Mick Akers of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The arrest is tied to an alleged incident that occurred at a Las Vegas nightclub on Saturday. Police are still investigating the case.
Kamara was in Las Vegas this week at the 2022 Pro Bowl and participated in the game Sunday afternoon.
The 26-year-old's bail has been set at $5,000 and his initial court appearance is scheduled for Monday afternoon, according to police records, obtained by The Athletic's Katherine Terrell.
