Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire suffered a collarbone injury in the third quarter of Sunday's 36-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers and didn't return.

The Chiefs downgraded him from questionable to out him while up 30-3 early in the fourth quarter.

The second-year back amassed 27 yards and one touchdown on nine carries before exiting the game. He also caught one pass.

Edwards-Helaire entered Week 16 with a team-high 490 yards on the ground through nine games in 2021. He previously missed five contests due to an MCL sprain.

Kansas City's star safety Tyrann Mathieu also went down with a quad injury and was ruled out minutes later.
