Cowboys clinch NFC East title before game vs. Washington
The Las Vegas Raiders defeated the Denver Broncos 17-13 on Sunday, allowing the Dallas Cowboys to clinch their first NFC East title since 2018 before their Sunday Night Football meeting with the Washington Football Team.
Las Vegas' victory sealed Dallas' strength-of-victory tiebreaker over the Philadelphia Eagles.
No team has won the NFC East in back-to-back years since Philly did it in 2003 and '04. Washington finished first last season at 7-9.
The NFC East hasn’t had a repeat champion for 17 straight seasons.
