Cox, Goedert among 12 Eagles to land on COVID-19 list
Fletcher Cox, Dallas Goedert, and Jason Kelce were among 12 Philadelphia Eagles players placed on the COVID-19 list Monday, the team announced.
The trio is among roughly a dozen players on the team to test positive, though they all have a chance to return in time for Saturday's game against the Dallas Cowboys due to the updated COVID-19 protocols, sources told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Cox has registered 3.5 sacks this season while Goedert is currently second on the team in receptions (56) and receiving yards (830).
Genard Avery, Marcus Epps, Jordan Howard, Avonte Maddox, Rodney McLeod, Boston Scott, Alex Singleton, Jack Stoll, and Nate Herbig were also placed on the reserve group.
The Eagles have already clinched a playoff berth ahead of Week 18, though the matchup against the Cowboys could play into wild-card seeding.
Philadelphia is 9-7 under first-year coach Nick Sirianni.
