Eagles rest Hurts, several starters vs. Cowboys
The Philadelphia Eagles rested several starters for Saturday's game against the Dallas Cowboys, including quarterback Jalen Hurts and cornerback Darius Slay.
Gardner Minshew replaced Hurts under center for the game.
Philadelphia also didn't have defensive tackle Fletcher Cox, tight end Dallas Goedert, and running back Boston Scott as they remain on the COVID-19 list, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
The 9-7 Eagles, who have already clinched a playoff spot, only had six starters active in Week 18.
Minshew has already started one game this season. He replaced an injured Hurts in Week 13, helping Philly beat the New York Jets.
The 11-5 Cowboys have clinched the NFC East title but can still improve their playoff seeding in Week 18, though the Green Bay Packers have already locked up the conference's No. 1 seed.
