Twitter reacts to punt hitting scoreboard, sun blinding players in Cowboys game
AT&T Stadium provided unique moments during the Dallas Cowboys' home playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, and they quickly went viral on social media.
First, Cowboys wide receiver Cedrick Wilson failed to track the ball on a third-down target in the first half as he was blinded by sunlight.
Chance of one-score game if it was cloudy weather in Arlington or AT&T Stadium was constructed differently. Sun in eyes of Cowboys WR Cedrick Wilson appeared to directly cause third-down incompletion. Cowboys trail 16-7 at halftime. pic.twitter.com/gZE6Kqd3N4

Wilson wasn't the only one bothered by sunlight in the stadium that cost more than $1 billion.
Just think about building such a beautiful stadium ($1B+)…and this is your nemesis. HUH?! #DallasCowboys pic.twitter.com/QsuFokDK6q

Your standard lost pass in the sun, in a dome.

"Jerry World" also generated negative reactions after a Cowboys punt hit the stadium's scoreboard in the third quarter, forcing Bryan Anger to punt the ball again.

A home playoff game actively working against the Cowboys is objectively hilarious

"Billionaire owner builds ostentatious, taxpayer-funded stadium with design flaws that prove to be his own undoing" feels a little on the nose even for Jerry

And if all that isn't weird enough, the Nickelodeon broadcast left its (green) mark on the game, too. The NFL partnered with Nickelodeon for kid-friendly broadcasts last year with coverage that featured several twists, including shots of slime.
