Titans coach Vrabel, GM Robinson receive contract extensions
The Tennessee Titans have agreed to contract extensions with head coach Mike Vrabel and general manager Jon Robinson, the team announced Tuesday.
"I am proud to say that Jon and Mike will be leading our football team for years to come," Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk said in a statement. "I have seen the team improve on a yearly basis under their direction, and I know their singular goal is to deliver a championship for our fans."
The Titans have finished with a winning record in every season since Robinson took over in 2016. Meanwhile, under Vrabel's command, Tennessee has posted a 41-24 record over four seasons.
The duo reached new heights in 2021, securing the AFC's No. 1 seed by winning 12 games. However, the Cincinnati Bengals dashed the club's championship hopes in the divisional round.
While the Titans have gone one-and-done in each of their last two postseason trips, they've earned a playoff appearance in three of the last four seasons.
