NFL Honors: All major award winners from Thursday's event
The NFL Honors were held Thursday night in Los Angeles, recognizing the top players, coaches, and moments of the 2021 season.
The MVP award, which was handed to Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers for the second straight year, headlined the event. Here are all the major award winners:
Los Angeles Rams offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth took home the 2021 Walter Payton Man of the Year award. The accolade recognizes excellence on the field and in the community.
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker was recognized for providing the top moment of the 2021 campaign. Tucker walked off the Detroit Lions in Week 3 by hitting the longest field goal in NFL history (66 yards) as time expired.
Miami Dolphins defensive lineman Christian Wilkins took home the Celly of the Year award for his hilarious celebration after a touchdown catch versus the New York Jets in Week 15.
Other winners from the event include:
- Assistant Coach of the Year: Cowboys DC Dan Quinn
- Daily Fantasy Player of the Year: Rams WR Cooper Kupp
- Fan of the Year: Henry Ison (Falcons)
The 2022 Pro Football Hall of Fame class was also announced Thursday, with Richard Seymour, Tony Boselli, and LeRoy Butler headlining an eight-man group of enshrinees.
