Miller wants to 'figure it out' with Rams before exploring free agency
Impending free-agent pass-rusher Von Miller says he'll give the Los Angeles Rams first dibs before turning his attention to other potential suitors.
"I want to figure it out with the Rams first and foremost because they've been real good to me," Miller told Josina Anderson of CBS Sports. "On the slim chance that can't happen, then I'll explore all my options."
Miller caused a stir this week after teasing a return to the Denver Broncos on social media.
Miller, whom the Rams acquired in a midseason trade, helped guide L.A. to a Super Bowl championship. He recorded nine sacks, with four coming in the postseason, during his tenure.
The 32-year-old started 142 games with the Broncos after they drafted him second overall in 2011. Denver signaled its championship aspirations by reportedly acquiring Russell Wilson in a blockbuster trade Tuesday.
