Panthers' Anderson opposed to potential Mayfield trade
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Robby Anderson doesn't like the idea of potentially catching passes from Baker Mayfield.
Anderson made his opinion clear Friday on Instagram after hearing Ian Rapoport of NFL Network suggest Carolina as the most likely landing spot for the disgruntled Cleveland Browns quarterback.
Anderson commented "Nooooo" on a post made by a fan account that linked Mayfield to the Panthers. The wideout stood by his remarks minutes later on another post.
The Browns, who drafted Mayfield first overall in 2018, have been looking for a trade partner for the signal-caller since they acquired Deshaun Watson from the Houston Texans.
Mayfield recently said he felt betrayed by the Browns. Cleveland reportedly told Mayfield's representatives earlier this offseason that the team would bring him back in 2022.
