Williams: 'I don't give a f---' about 'Hard Knocks'

Jamaal Williams anticipates he'll be featured in this year's "Hard Knocks" featuring the Detroit Lions, but the running back says he isn't worried about delivering what fans are expecting from him on the show.
"I don't give a f---. I don't care," Williams told reporters Wednesday. "I just want to play football. All that is to me now is more cameras walking around staring at me. I don't care, I just want to play football. And I want to win the Super Bowl this year, forget the 'Hard Knocks' and all that stuff."
He added: "People think I'm funny, but I don't do it on purpose. This is just me. I just walk around and just be me all the time. That's it. I can't fake nothing. They're going to see it on my face. ... Every time they have a camera in my face, I'm just going to look at them. ... I'm not going to smile at 'em. Maybe, we'll see."

HBO announced in March that the Lions will be featured in the 2022 edition of "Hard Knocks." The five-episode season will debut on Aug. 9.
Williams is entering his second campaign in Detroit. The 27-year-old, who spent his first four NFL seasons with the Green Bay Packers, amassed a team-high 153 rushing attempts for 601 yards (3.9 per carry) and three touchdowns through 13 games last year while sharing the backfield with D'Andre Swift. Williams also caught 26 passes for 157 yards in 2021.
