Report: Pierre-Paul visiting Ravens
Veteran pass-rusher Jason Pierre-Paul is visiting the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, a source told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Pierre-Paul, 33, spent the last four seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, racking up 33 sacks. The three-time Pro Bowler recorded only 31 tackles and 2.5 sacks last year while battling a shoulder injury that sidelined him for five regular-season games.
A first-round pick in 2010, Pierre-Paul began his career with the New York Giants. He amassed 58.5 sacks - including a career-high 16.5 in 2011 - across eight seasons in New York.
Baltimore is looking to bolster its pass rush with Tyus Bowser recovering from a torn Achilles and Odafe Oweh having undergone offseason shoulder surgery. It's also unclear when rookie pass-rusher David Ojabo will be cleared to play after he suffered a torn Achilles in March.
Bowser led the team with seven sacks last year.
