Julio, Godwin active for SNF vs. Chiefs
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receivers Julio Jones and Chris Godwin are active for Sunday night's matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, the team announced.
Godwin has been dealing with a hamstring injury while Jones has been bothered by a knee issue. Neither wideout has suited up since Week 1.
Jones was a limited participant in practice throughout the week while Godwin practiced in a limited capacity on Wednesday and Friday.
Offensive tackle Donovan Smith and wideout Russell Gage, who were both listed as questionable, are also active.
The Bucs' receiving corps has been thinned in recent weeks as a result of Godwin's and Jones' injuries. Mike Evans also missed last week's loss to the Green Bay Packers due to a one-game suspension.
Evans leads the club with 132 receiving yards while Gage is slightly behind with 128 yards of his own. Tampa Bay heads into Week 4 with a 2-1 record.
