Raiders' Adams charged with assault for pushing photographer after MNF loss
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams was charged with misdemeanor assault for a postgame incident on Monday Night Football in Kansas City, according to court records obtained by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Adams shoved a photographer to the ground on his way to the locker room following the team's 30-29 loss to the Chiefs. He apologized for the incident afterward.
Point of clarity on #Raiders WR Davante Adams: He has been charged with a city ordinance violation, which is a little lower than a state misdemeanor assault charge, per the prosecutor's office. It carries a fine of $250 to $1K or up to 180 days in jail or both.

The photographer filed a police report against the 29-year-old on Tuesday.
Adams reportedly could also face NFL discipline, including a suspension.
The five-time Pro Bowler joined the Raiders in an offseason blockbuster trade after spending the first eight seasons of his career with the Green Bay Packers.
