Bills rule out Poyer, Knox for Week 5 vs. Steelers
The Buffalo Bills won't have safety Jordan Poyer or tight end Dawson Knox for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, head coach Sean McDermott announced Friday.
Poyer is dealing with injured ribs, while Knox has foot and hamstring issues.
Cornerback Christian Benford and receivers Jamison Crowder and Jake Kumerow will also miss the contest.
Sunday's game will mark the second contest that Poyer has missed this campaign after being sidelined in Week 3 with a foot injury. Buffalo has also been without star safety Micah Hyde due to a season-ending neck injury.
Poyer leads the NFL with four interceptions this season.
Knox has caught 12 passes for 111 yards this year, though he has yet to record a touchdown.
The 3-1 Bills will welcome a Steelers team that has lost three straight.
