Colts without Taylor, Hines for Week 6 vs. Jaguars
The Indianapolis Colts will be without running backs Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the team announced.
It's the second consecutive missed game for Taylor, who's dealing with an ankle injury. Hines sustained a concussion in Week 5.
Both running backs were listed as questionable for the contest before the team downgraded them to out Saturday. Taylor, 23, was a limited participant in practice Thursday and Friday. Hines, 25, fully participated Friday after being limited earlier in the week.
The Colts elevated running backs Phillip Lindsay and D'Vonte Price from the practice squad Saturday. Lindsay ran for 40 yards on 11 carries in last week's victory over the Denver Broncos.
Taylor leads the club in rushing with 328 yards and one touchdown this season. Hines has tallied only 14 rushing yards but has 118 receiving yards.
Indianapolis lost 24-0 to the Jaguars in Week 2.
