Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson said there's no animosity with quarterback Mitch Trubisky after the two players got into an argument in Week 4.

Johnson reportedly yelled at Trubisky to get him the ball more at halftime of their game against the New York Jets. He and the quarterback then had a heated exchange, leading to rookie signal-caller Kenny Pickett being told he would start the second half.

"I don't want to get too much into detail," Johnson said Wednesday, according to ESPN's Brooke Pryor. "We're both passionate about the game. Stuff happens during football. We're fine, we talked about it. We made up, better over the whole situation. No hard feelings towards each other.

"That's still my guy at the end of the day. I'm gonna still keep playing for him, cheering for him. Like I said, there's no bad blood between us at all."

Pickett was named the starter for the campaign after the Jets game but suffered a concussion in Week 6. Trubisky came on in relief against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and threw for 144 yards and one touchdown to help the Steelers secure their second victory of the year.

However, the Steelers plan to go back to Pickett if he clears the concussion protocol in time for their prime-time meeting with the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

Johnson leads the club with 33 receptions and 295 receiving yards.
