Bengals' Mixon suffers concussion in win over Steelers

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon was ruled out in the third quarter of Sunday's 37-30 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers due to a concussion.

Mixon racked up 20 yards on seven carries to go along with three catches for 42 yards before exiting.

Running back Samaje Perine stepped up for Cincy versus Pittsburgh, catching four passes for 52 yards and three touchdowns. He also had 11 rushing attempts for 30 yards.

Mixon has led the Bengals in rushing each year since entering the NFL as a second-round pick in 2017. The 26-year-old entered Sunday with 585 yards (3.9 per carry) and six touchdowns on the ground across nine games this season. He also collected 38 catches for 272 yards and two scores.
