Titans' Tannehill returns vs. Chargers despite ankle injury

Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill returned to Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers after being carted to the locker room due to an ankle injury.
Tannehill suffered the injury on a third-down run in the first quarter and was originally listed as questionable to return. Rookie Malik Willis entered the game at quarterback for Tennessee, going 3-for-4 passing with 20 yards while replacing Tannehill during one series.

Tannehill entered Sunday with a 65% completion rate for 2,371 yards and 13 touchdowns against five interceptions through 11 appearances in 2022.
The 34-year-old missed two games early this season with an ankle ailment.
