NFL Honors: All major award winners from Thursday's event

The NFL Honors were held Thursday night in Phoenix, recognizing the top players, coaches, and moments of the 2022 season.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes took home the MVP, the night's most coveted honor. Here are all the major award winners:

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was named the 2022 Walter Payton Man of the Year for his excellence on the field and in the community.

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin was also one of the stars of the night. Hamlin, who suffered cardiac arrest during Buffalo's Week 17 game against the Cincinnati Bengals, gave an emotional speech to the audience.

The top moment of the 2022 season ended up in the hands of Jefferson, who was named Offensive Player of the Year earlier in the evening. The Vikings superstar was recognized for his mind-blowing one-handed reception on fourth down that helped Minnesota earn a comeback win over Buffalo in Week 10.

The Cincinnati Bengals captured the Celly of the Year award for their roller-coaster celebration during a Week 18 matchup versus the Baltimore Ravens.

Some NFLers also stole the show for their singing at the event, including Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins, who belted one out for retired quarterback Tom Brady.

Other winners from the event include:

  • Assistant Coach of the Year: Former 49ers DC DeMeco Ryans
  • Fan of the Year: Larry Bevans (Seahawks)

The 2023 Pro Football Hall of Fame class was also announced Thursday, with Darrelle Revis, Joe Thomas, and DeMarcus Ware headlining the group of inductees.
