Diggs shows up for Bills minicamp after Day 1 absence
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs was present for Wednesday's mandatory minicamp practice, according to The Athletic's Joe Buscaglia.
Diggs was absent from Tuesday's mandatory workout, which left head coach Sean McDermott "very concerned."
McDermott clarified his concern Wednesday, saying, "Whenever a player has something going on or who misses (practice) ... that's my sentiment with every player," according to NFL reporter Mike Giardi.
The Pro Bowler's agent, Adisa Bakari, released a statement Tuesday, saying Diggs would "be there for the entirety of the minicamp," per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Bakari added Diggs was at the team's facilities Monday for pre-minicamp medical testing and had spoken with his head coach.
McDermott admitted he and Diggs needed a break Tuesday following some good conversations, but the player did everything that was expected of him, according to Syracuse.com's Matt Parrino.
The coach believes the situation has been resolved, per Giardi.
The 29-year-old posted cryptic messages in an Instagram story Tuesday night. "I just be letting people cap. If them lies help you sleep better tell em big dawg," the message read, according to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio. "My phone been silent for like 6 years. Ion play all them sounds and shit."
Diggs hauled in 108 passes for 1,429 yards and 11 touchdowns in 16 games with the Bills last season.
