Free-agent running back Dalvin Cook believes there's a good chance he's a New York Jet by the end of the weekend.

“I think they’re pretty high," Cook said Friday on NFL Network's "GMFB" when asked about the odds he signs with the Jets.

Cook, who was released by the Minnesota Vikings in June, has a visit lined up with the Jets this weekend. If he joins New York, he would be part of a transformed offense that added four-time league MVP Aaron Rodgers and wide receiver Allen Lazard this offseason.

The Dolphins have reportedly also shown interest in Cook, who is a Miami native. Though he believes he will likely join the Jets, the veteran running back hasn't closed the door on the Dolphins yet.

"I’m still weighing my options," Cook added, according to NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe. "This thing is not over, playing for my hometown would mean so much for me, my community, my family, it's a cinderella story.”

The 27-year-old back spent the first six seasons of his career in Minnesota where he rushed for 5,993 yards and collected four Pro Bowl selections.
