Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is expected to miss several weeks with a moderate hamstring injury, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.

Jeudy was carted off during a joint practice with the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday, per Rapoport.

Coach Sean Payton said Jeudy would undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the injury, according to team reporter John Riker.

Jeudy is the latest Broncos receiver to be afflicted with a health issue this offseason. Veteran Tim Patrick tore his Achilles in July, KJ Hamler was released due to a heart condition, and Jalen Virgil suffered a season-ending knee injury in a preseason contest against the San Francisco 49ers.

The 24-year-old wideout hauled in 67 receptions for 972 yards and six touchdowns in 15 games in the 2022 campaign, leading the team in all three categories.

Denver is looking to rebound from a disappointing 5-12 record a year ago in its first year under Payton. The Broncos open their 2023 season at home against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 1.

Jeudy has totaled 2,295 yards and nine touchdowns on 157 receptions since being selected with the No. 15 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
