Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is slated to return for Sunday's matchup against the Washington Commanders, head coach Sean Payton announced Friday, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Jeudy missed the team's Week 1 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders due to a hamstring injury.
The former first-round pick had been a limited participant in practice Wednesday before resuming a full workload Thursday.
Jeudy was an important target for quarterback Russell Wilson last season. Despite the Broncos' pedestrian offense, Jeudy set career highs in receptions (67), receiving yards (972), and touchdowns (six).
Running back Samaje Perine was Denver's leading receiver in Week 1, recording 37 yards.
