The New Orleans Saints and defensive end Carl Granderson agreed to a four-year extension Saturday, the club announced.
The deal is worth $52 million and contains $35.3 million guaranteed, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. It includes incentives that could push it to a maximum value of $60 million, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
Granderson has gotten off to a hot start this season, recording 2.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and six quarterback hits.
The Saints signed the 26-year-old as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He's recorded 17 sacks and four forced fumbles across 56 career games and nine starts.
