Lions' Montgomery ruled out with injured ribs, X-rays negative

Running back David Montgomery was ruled out for the remainder of the Detroit Lions' Week 6 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with injured ribs.
Montgomery's X-rays on the ribs came back negative, per the Fox broadcast.
Rookie running back Jahmyr Gibbs is inactive due to a hamstring issue. Craig Reynolds is expected to handle the bulk of carries for the remainder of the contest.
Montgomery had six carries for 14 yards and one catch for 19 yards before leaving. He missed the Lions' Week 3 victory with a thigh injury.
The 26-year-old tailback tallied 371 yards and six touchdowns on the ground entering the game. He also had five receptions for 47 yards.
