Josh Allen gets throwing shoulder checked after SNF win vs. Giants
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen sustained an injury to his throwing shoulder during Sunday night's 14-9 win over the New York Giants.
Allen said postgame that X-rays didn't show anything on his shoulder, according to Alex Brasky of the Daily News.
"We'll be alright," Allen said, per Matthew Bové of 7 News WKBW.
The 27-year-old added that he suffered the injury in the second quarter, saying it happened one play before he took a big hit that required him to go into the medical tent to be checked for a head injury. Allen was cleared to return after missing two snaps.

Allen brushed off the severity of his injury.
"I played the entire second half," he said, according to Bové.
The Allen-led Bills' offense struggled to move the ball consistently versus the Giants, who forced two turnovers, including an interception.
However, the star passer came up clutch late in the fourth quarter, tossing a go-ahead touchdown to Quintin Morris with 3:48 left in the game. Allen finished the night with 19 completions on 30 pass attempts for 169 yards and two touchdowns against one pick.
Allen, who ranked third for MVP in 2022, also battled an elbow injury for most of last season but didn't miss any games.
