Broncos' Jackson suspended 4 games after 2nd ejection for illegal hit
Denver Broncos safety Kareem Jackson was suspended four games without pay for violations of the league's unnecessary roughness rules, the NFL announced Monday.
Jackson was ejected for the second time this year during Sunday's contest against the Green Bay Packers after a helmet-to-helmet hit on rookie tight end Luke Musgrave.

His first disqualification came in Week 2 after an illegal hit on Washington Commanders tight end Logan Thomas.

Jackson has been on the receiving end of multiple unnecessary roughness penalties this season. The 35-year-old has already been fined a total of $89,670 after being docked $43,709 on Saturday for a hit in Week 6.
The ban will cost Jackson $558,888 of his 2023 salary, per Spotrac.
He plans to appeal the suspension, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports.
