The NFL reduced Denver Broncos safety Kareem Jackson's suspension for illegal hits from four games to two after the veteran appealed, the league announced Tuesday.

Jackson had originally been handed a four-game ban after he was ejected for the second time this year for a hit on Green Bay Packers tight end Luke Musgrave.

Jackson will miss a home contest against the Kansas City Chiefs and a road matchup with the Buffalo Bills.

Jackson's first ejection of the year came after an illegal hit on Washington Commanders tight end Logan Thomas in Week 2.

The 35-year-old defensive back has been fined $89,670 this season for unnecessary roughness calls.

Jackson has 42 total tackles, three passes defensed, and a pair of interceptions this season.
