Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson blamed the referees for his team's 20-10 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

"I don't care what nobody is saying - they cost us the game," Johnson said postgame, according to Mike DeFabo of The Athletic.

The wideout added: "They were calling some stupid stuff. They should get fined for making terrible calls. That's how pissed I am. They cost us the game. They must have got paid good today."

Pittsburgh wasn't happy with several of the officials' calls throughout the matchup, including a second-quarter offensive drive that resulted in the Steelers missing a field goal in the final seconds of the first half.

Quarterback Kenny Pickett sustained a rib injury on the play and couldn't return to the game. The Steelers turned to Mitch Trubisky, who completed 15 of 27 passes for 138 yards and one touchdown against two interceptions.

The non-call on Pickett drew plenty of pushback from Steelers fans, as Pittsburgh had been flagged for roughing the passer after a hit on Trevor Lawrence moments earlier.

"(The officials) wanted them to win," said Johnson, who caught eight passes for 85 yards versus Jacksonville. "Everything was in their favor, every little call, but it is what it is."

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin also appeared to question the officials:

Pittsburgh guard Isaac Seumalo, however, doesn't agree with Johnson's postgame comments.

"It's far, far from the reason the game was not won," Seumalo said, according to media outlet Blitzburgh. "It's very, very minor to me in terms of the refs stuff. There's much more prudent and important stuff offensively that we need to look at."

Sunday's loss dropped the Steelers to 4-3 this season. The Jaguars improved to 6-2 with the victory.
