Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Buffalo Bills due to a groin injury, the team announced.
Johnson appeared on the injury report earlier Sunday after he informed team trainers that he was suffering from groin soreness, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The veteran received treatment for the injury before the game and is slated to undergo an MRI, Rapoport added. He fully participated in training during the week.
This will mark the first game Johnson has missed all season.
Jack Driscoll will likely start in Johnson's place. Driscoll has made 16 career starts since entering the league in 2020.
The Eagles enter Sunday's matchup owning an NFL-best 9-1 record.
