Saints' Allen mum on Thomas' social media posts: 'We'll keep that in-house'
The New Orleans Saints will handle any response to Michael Thomas' social media posts internally, according to head coach Dennis Allen.
"We'll keep that in-house," Allen said, according to Matthew Paras of The Times-Picayune.
Allen said he was made aware of Thomas' posts, which appeared to throw shade at quarterback Derek Carr, after Sunday's loss to the Detroit Lions.
Thomas - who's on injured reserve - posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, throughout Sunday's game. One post mentioned that wide receiver A.T. Perry was wide-open, while another said, "God is with Jameis" after Winston entered the game following an injury to Carr.
Thomas also added that he wasn't throwing shade at Carr but that his "eyes just work."
Carr signed a four-year deal in New Orleans this past offseason. He entered the concussion protocol for the second time this year following Sunday's game.
The Saints hold a 5-7 record after losing three straight.
