New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson missed the second half of the team's Week 15 loss against the Miami Dolphins with a concussion.
The ailment was originally called a head injury, but the team later said the signal-caller suffered a concussion.
Wilson apparently headed to the locker room before the half to get hydrated, according to the CBS broadcast. However, he was ruled out to start the second half.
Trevor Siemian replaced Wilson under center.
The Jets are no longer in postseason contention after the Cleveland Browns beat the Chicago Bears.
Aaron Rodgers is reportedly expected to be cleared to return from his Achilles tear for Week 16, but he said playing if the team is mathematically eliminated wouldn't "make a ton of sense."
