Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco was ruled out in the second half of the club's 20-14 loss against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday with a concussion.
The runner lost his helmet after making a reception late in the third quarter and then took a knee to the head before exiting.
Pacheco had 26 rushing yards and a touchdown on 11 carries before leaving the contest. He also had four receptions for zero yards.
The Chiefs were already shorthanded at running back entering the game as Jerick McKinnon was unavailable due to a groin ailment.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire took over as the team's top runner following Pacheco's injury. The former first-round pick finished the defeat with 48 yards on seven touches.
