Report: Jim Harbaugh expected to meet with Chargers again
The Los Angeles Chargers are expected to meet with Michigan's Jim Harbaugh for a second time regarding their head coach vacancy this week, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Harbaugh first met with the team on Jan. 15.
The Wolverines sideline boss is also expected to meet with the Atlanta Falcons for a second time, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported last week.
Harbaugh led Michigan to an undefeated season and the College Football Playoff National Championship this year. He owns a 118-46 overall record as a head coach at the collegiate level.
He reportedly remains in negotiations to return to Ann Arbor in 2024 as well.
The 60-year-old's lone tenure as an NFL head coach came from 2011-14 when he led the San Francisco 49ers to a 44-19-1 overall record and an appearance in Super Bowl XLVII.
Los Angeles has been searching for a new head coach since firing Brandon Staley in December.
