Report: Seahawks re-signing Leonard Williams
The Seattle Seahawks are bringing back Leonard Williams on a three-year deal that's expected to be worth $64.5 million, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
The contract also contains $43.85 million in guaranteed money, Bleacher Report's Jordan Schultz reports.
The Seahawks acquired the former Pro Bowler in a midseason trade with the New York Giants, sending a 2024 second-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick the other way.
Williams played admirably down the stretch, recording four sacks and nine tackles for a loss in 10 games with the Seahawks.
The sixth overall pick in the 2015 draft, Williams began his career with the New York Jets before moving to the Giants and then the Seahawks. His best year came in 2020 when he recorded 11.5 sacks as a member of the Giants.
